So when it came time for Madilyn to release her most recent EP “Anymore,” David returned the favor for the title track.
And while the EP was released in August, the music video for the song just landed earlier this month. You can check it out below.
David, of course, was the Season 7 runner-up on American Idol.
Madilyn, now 21, auditioned for The Voice Season 6 at age 16 and made it to the Top 20.
Madilyn said her goal with “Anymore” was to deliver an EP filled with messages of self-worth, hope and inspiration.
As for her “Anymore” duet with David, Madilyn told The Deseret News, “We wanted to have a song on the album that could help people heal.
“No matter what, you can always change, you can always become better. Your past does not define you.”
