Delaney Silvernell from The Voice Season 15 released her first post-Voice single this week.

Delaney Silvernell has released her first single since Season 15 of The Voice.

And she says the song — “Bow & Arrow” — was very much influenced by her time on the show.

Even thought she made it to the knockout round and was stolen by Adam Levine along the way, Delaney writes on Instagram that she felt “so discouraged” when her time on the show ended.

“I came out on the other side with incredible support from fans and an amazing mentor @kellyclarkson,” she said. “But I was still so lost and confused.

“So I wrote about it, hoping to motivate and inspire myself to keep creating. That’s how ‘Bow & Arrow’ was born (with the help of an amazing team). I hope it motivates and inspires you to keep going, too.”

As for that title …

“An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward,” she explains. “When life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means it’s going to launch you into something great. So just focus, and keep aiming.”

Delaney — she releases music using just her first name — was 21 when she auditioned for The Voice and landed a spot on Team Kelly. Pre-Voice, she released a four-song EP called “Access.”

Here’s “Bow & Arrow.” It’s a catchy song and Delaney serves up a great vocal.
