That’s right, Gabby Barrett and Cade Foehner are engaged.

People broke the news with an exclusive on Friday.

Apparently, the proposal took place during a recent trip to L.A. when Cade, 22, and Gabby, 19, found themselves in the same hotel where they met as contestants on American Idol.

Cade had purchased a ring, but hadn’t planned on popping the question quite yet and didn’t have it with him.

Still, when they wound up visiting the very same room where they first met, Cade told the site he thought: ” It can’t get any more right than this.”

So he asked, she said yes and Cade’s sister over-nighted the ring to L.A.

Gabby, you’ll recall, finished third on Season 17 of Idol. Cade finished in the Top 5.

Musically, Gabby also has reason to celebrate. Her must-hear new single — “I Hope” — has already been streamed 1.5 million times on Spotify.

Cade is preparing to release his new single, “Southern Hallelujah,” on March 26.
