Reagan Strange from The Voice Season 13 recently released her first original song since the show.

Reagan Strange has released her first original since making waves as a 13-year-old on Season 15 of The Voice.

Better yet, her debut single is a catchy pop-rock song with a message.

“Tell Me I Can’t” is a song about determination and perseverance intended to raise awareness of Cerebral Palsy.

An accompanying music video featuring Cerebral Palsy warriors “doing the impossible” is planned, according to Reagan’s Facebook page, but hasn’t landed yet.

Reagan was a Top 6 finisher on Season 15 of The Voice and involved in that Top 8 Twitter save brouhaha where she advanced though she couldn’t perform.

She hasn’t let that bit of controversy slow her down. In February, she released her first music since the show, a series of four covers including The Beatles “Yesterday” and Stevie Nick’s “Rhiannon.”

And she’s going to be a busy young lady the next week or so, performing at an Ave Maria Foundation fund-raiser in Memphis on Saturday, then singing the national anthem before a Memphis Grizzlies’ game next Wednesday.

Here’s “Tell Me I Can’t.” I’ll post again when the video lands.
