Cade Foehner’s east Texas home stars in his new music video.

The soulful “Southern Hallelujah” and the video came out last week. Check it out below.

In a Facebook video, Caleb says the video was filmed on his family’s property and around the house where he grew up.

“This song is really just about where I grew up and my childhood. It’s about where I grew up and where I’m from,” says the 22-year-old from Shelbyville Texas.

“The line about waist-deep water and Texas sun reminds me of being here in the east Texas woods and being baptized in my church and all of that stuff. That’s what I really wanted to convey with this song.”

Cade, of course, was a Top 5 finisher on Season 16 of American Idol. He and Idol finalist Gabby Barrett also recently announced that they’re engaged.

“Southern Hallelujah” is Cade’s second single since Idol and he’s currently working on his debut album.
