Brooke Simpson has a fun new single out called Little Bit Crazy.

And the Season 13 finalist on The Voice says it stemmed from a different sort of writing experience.

Typically, Brooke says she writes about personal experiences.

But at a writing session in Nashville, she took a new approach, she explains in a Facebook chat with fans.

“With this song, I was thinking what would I do if the person I was madly in love with left me. And they not only left me, but started living their best life

“I’m like ‘I am kind of psycho, so would I do something psycho?'”

Her husband answered yes, and a fun new song was born.

As for that single cover featuring six different Brooke’s showing six different moods … well, the song is called “Little Bit Crazy.” And Brooke is a Gemini.

The song marks Brooke’s third single since finishing third on The Voice in the fall of 207.
