Wilkes celebrated Father’s Day weekend by releasing a song dedicated to his daughter.

The song is called “The Weight of a Girl” and landed Friday.

Wilkes wrote it with Tiffany Goss and Emma-Lee and dedicated it to his daughter Linley Jae “and all the dads out there.”

“This song means the world to me,” says Wilkes, who also produced the song, on Instagram. “I hope it impacts you guys as much as it has me and my family.”

Here’s the lyric video for “Weight of a Girl.”

Wilkes, from Waleska, Ga., finished Top 24 on Season 14 of The Voice. He’s since released a self-titled EP and the new song marks his third single this year, following “Not Like That” and “I Wanna Leave You.”
