What a night for The Voice contestants on iTunes!

When voting ended, seven of the eight spots on iTunes were occupied by The Voice Top 4.

Ricky Duran had claimed the number one spot with his new original song, pushing the new duet from Blake Shelton Gwen Stefani to number two.

Jack Hoot placed all three of his Monday night performances in the Top 6, increasing the likelihood that his status as front-runner will be confirmed when the results come in tonight.

And Katie Kadan placed both of her solos — the songs that count toward voting — in the Top 7 on the chart, a fact that might make Hoot fans a bit nervous.

The only bit of bad news might have been for Rose Short, whose spectacular night on The Voice stage did not translate to the chart as she failed to crack the Top 10 with any of her performances.

Other chart notes:

* 14 previously released songs from the finalists made their way back onto the iTunes Top 200. Jake had three other songs in the Top 50.

* Voice artists topped both the pop chart (Katie) and the rock chart (Ricky).

* In fact, between new and old performances, Ricky claimed the top five spots on the rock chart.

* Jake, meanwhile, claimed three of the top four spots on the country chart. The long exception: That aforementioned Blake-Gwen duet remained entrenched at number one.

Here’s where all the songs stood at 7 a.m. when voting ended.
