Moriah Formica from The Voice Season 13 and American Idol Season 17

Moriah Formica is providing a rocking start to 2020.

The 19-year-old has released “The Champion,” which she calls her favorite release so far.

Moriah calls it a fun, anthemic single, and she has that part right.

It’s also the first song she co-produced. Plus the first on which she recorded both the bass and guitar tracks.

And she hasn’t said whether a music video will follow. But the promo art for the single features Moriah in boxing gear.

Moriah competed on The Voice Season 13 at age 16 and made it to the Top 20.

She was also featured on last spring’s 17th season of American Idol, making it to the Top 40.
