Jacquie Lee, now just Jacquie, released an EP on Friday.

Jacquie Lee, runner-up on Season 5 of The Voice, has released her first EP in more than five years.

“My EP ♾ is finally out in the world,” she writes on Instagram, where she calls herself “professionally unemployed. “Help a sis pay rent and give it a stream.”

It’s a solid four-song R&B pop collection called “Xfinity” and features two songs already released as singles — “Grim” and “Break.”

But also be sure to check out the very different “Hybrid,” a song about anxiety and the struggle for self-acceptance.

Jacquie Lee, now recording as simply Jacquie, was a 16-year-old from Colts Neck, N.J., when she landed on The Voice stage.

Her success on the show landed her a label deal, but she says she was also “labeled as a type of artist I knew I didn’t connect with.”

She wound up moving to L.A. and starting fresh.

In a poignant Instagram post, she says a turning point came when she stepped away from music to train for a marathon, even though she’s never enjoyed running.

When she turned the music back on, she says, “I wrote two full EPs I’m proud of running through Venice — voice memoing thoughts and words and melodies that have come from a place I’ve never felt before.”

Here’s “Hybrid” from “Xfinity.”
