One of the talented artists to announce she’s auditioned is Amber Fiedler.
Here’s more about Amber.
* She’s from Idaho, attending Priest River Lamanna High School, previously won Priest River has talent and made the finals of North Idaho’s Got Talent in August.
* She’s been heavily involved in community theater, recently wrapping up a role as Bonnie in Bonnie and Clyde the Musical. You can check out the photo of her decked out as Bonnie on Instagram.
* Other recent roles include playing dance hall girl Charity in “Sweet Charity,” as Marta in “Company” and as Diana in “A Chorus Line.”
* Writes Amber on Instagram: “Without theatre, my life would be nothing.”
* Of course, those roles require vocal talent. In fact, here’s what Brooke Wood, director of “Sweet Charity” said of Amber: “Amber is immensely talented for someone of her age. She’s got a beautiful voice, and in fact I think she sings some of the songs better than some of the originals just because her voice is so amazing.”
* If you want to hear that voice on some more customary Idol-like covers, check out her Instagram page where recent covers include “To Make You Feel My Love” and “Gravity.”
* There’s also a snippet of an original called “Contradiction” that Amber wrote on ukulele. You can check out the full version below.
* Amber’s also a featured artist on a pair of hip-hop tracks released by Naive — “Lust or Love” and “Solo.” Those links take you to the lyric videos on YouTube.
