New post-Voice music released over the past two weeks includes country singles — or in one case, a sorta country single — from Barrett Baber, Morgan Wallen and Andrew Sevener.

Here’s a look at those releases. The links take you to the songs on Apple Music. Or you can check out the Spotify snippets below.

Barrett Baber, runner-up from Season 10, released his first single of 2020 earlier this month. It’s a catchy country tune called “Still Feels Like Summer.” And Barrett gives credit for how well the song turned out to Jim Collins. “A song is only as good as the folks that help bring it to life. … I’ve been so blessed to have some giants in the songwriting community spend time and energy writing songs with a guy like me.”

Morgan Wallen from Season 6 recorded a song called “Heartless” with producer Diplo (aka Thomas Wesley) last year. Now there’s a new version of the song featuring Julia Michaels, plus an accompanying music video. And it’s very good. “Too country for pop and too pop for country, so we just do what we want,” write Morgan, who’s scored a pair of number one country hits. Morgan is about to embark on the We Back tour with Jason Aldean.

Andrew Sevener, fourth on Season 16, released “All In” recently. It marks his second single since The Voice, following “Sorry Again,” which came out last summer. Andrew opened 2019 as a one-chair turn on The Voice and ended it with more than 206,000 streams of his songs on Spotify. And he’s got a bunch of upcoming shows in Texas you can check out here.
