Jules was just 15 when she auditioned for The Voice and landed a spot on Team Kelly Clarkson.

But she’d already released original music and says even more is coming now that her Voice journey has ended.

The singer-songwriter from Peoria, Ariz., was eliminated from the show following her battle round match with teammate Tayler Green.

They performed “Water Under the Bridge” by Adele, but only a tiny bit of the performance aired on the show.

Here’s what Jules told Voice Views about her battle round, her time on the show and her post-Voice plans.

Voice Views: Since we didn’t get to see the battle on TV, can you tell fans about what they missed and what type of feedback you got?

Jules: The battle performance itself was so much fun; Tayler and I had a blast learning and singing that song together! The feedback I got was very constructive and I’m grateful to have gotten this type of advice from the coaches.

Voice Views: What do you consider your biggest takeaway / lesson learned from The Voice experience?

Jules: My biggest takeaway is that perfect practice makes perfect. I’ve never pushed myself so far and hard in rehearsing music, and I’m proud of the work I put into the detail of performing each song.

Voice Views: What are your post-Voice plans musically? Where are you hoping this opportunity leads?

Jules: I will be recording and releasing music and hopefully start playing my own shows soon!

Voice Views: Do you have plans to release new music? If so, what can you tell us about that?

Jules: Yes! I have many songs that I’ve written in the works right now and all of them are an ode to my growth so far as a musician. They’re much more mature than anything I’ve released so far and I can’t wait for people to hear them! We’ll be recording straight out of quarantine!
