RaeLynn dropped her first major project in more than three years Friday.

It comes in the form of a six-song EP called “Baytown” that quickly cracked the Top 10 on Apple Music’s country albums chart.

For those unfamiliar, Baytown, Texas, is the hometown of the 26-year-old, who starred on Season 2 of The Voice back in 2012.

“This EP is an ode to my hometown, which has shaped me into the woman and artist I am today,” RaeLynn said on social media. “And I am so, so proud.

“Now go shake ya tail feather, read your Bible and stream #Baytown.”

“Baytown” finds RaeLynn in top, radio-friendly form. And country music fans can certainly shake to “Keep Up” and “Bra Off,” two party songs RaeLynn had already released from the six-song collection.

She also pre-released the ballad “Me About Me,” leaving just three brand new songs on the EP — “Still Smokin’,” “Fake Girl Town” and “Judgin’ To Jesus.”

As of Friday afternoon, the EP was number six on the country albums chart.

RaeLynn’s last major project was “Wild Horse,” a full-length album released in the spring of 2017.
