Next up on The Voice is the knockout round, where 12 more contestants will be eliminated, setting the stage for the Season 21 playoffs.
Contestants sing solos of their choice during the knockouts. Then their coach decides which singer to advance.
There are no saves in this round, but each coach has a single steal.
And, for the record, all the steals were used during the first two tapings, according to the spoiler site idolforums.com.
That left not a single steal for the last six matches filmed.
And, yep, that’s a totally unfair process.
Here’s a list of the contestants remaining and the rumored knockout round matchups.
The number in parenthesis indicates the number of chairs each singer turned in their blind auditions.
Six of the season’s seven four-chair turns — Holly Forbes, Gymani and Girl Named Tom of Team Kelly; Wendy Moten and Carson Peters of Team Blake; and BrittanyBree of Team Legend — made it through the battles.
The fun resumes Monday at 8 p.m.
