Recent post-Voice releases include new singles from past finalists Carter Rubin, Chloe MK and Will Champlin.

* Carter Rubin, the Season 19 champ, released his debut single Friday. It’s a catchy pop tune called “Horoscope.” Says Rubin: “Do you know that feeling where you start losing the connection with someone you love and the stars aren’t really aligning anymore? Well, I think I have the perfect song for you.” Carter wrote the song with Aaron Accetta, Jackson Hoffman, Julia Pernicone, Ryder Stuart and Shep Goodman. There’s a music video too. On Instagram, Carter thanked his team — “the very talented people that took the aesthetic in my head and brought it to life in my photoshoot and video.” Remember, Carter was just 14 when he auditioned for the show and became its youngster male winner to date at age 15. He released the single on Republic Records.

* Chloe MK, who won Season 13 as Chloe Kohanski, released a new single Friday called “Wonder.” She wrote the song with Evan Boutté. Chloe also shot the accompanying music video. It’s follows “Slide” as Chloe’s second single of 2021.

* Will Champlin, a Season 5 finalist, tackles the withdrawal from Afghanistan with “Fallen Ones” under his KillWill alter ego. Writes Will: “This song is a tribute to the 13 brave fallen heroes killed in #kabulairport as well as those #afghanallies and their families in grave danger.”
