A pair of EPs and a combo album from Colton Dixon

Colton DixonThis is a big day for fans of Colton Dixon.

He’s giving fans not one or two, but three new releases to select from.

First up in “Calm,” an EP featuring acoustic versions of four of his songs, including his latest hit, “Through All of It.” Sister Schyler is featured on another track, “You Are.”

Then there’s “Storm,” an EP featuring remixed versions of five different songs, including “More of You,” his first single from his latest album, “Anchor.”

And he’s offering the EPs as a combo — “Calm Before the Storm,” of course.

Want new music? You’ll get that too with a track called “Where I End,” which is part of the full-length album and the “Calm” EP.

The “Calm” and “Storm” EPs hit iTunes individually Friday morning. I haven’t seen the combo album there yet.

Since finishing seventh on Season 11 of American Idol, Colton has carved out a nice career for himself as a Christian artist.

Both his albums to date — “Anchor” and “A Messenger” — hit number one on Billboard’s Christian albums chart.

He’s scored three Top 15 singles on the hot Christian singles chart. “Through All of It,” his latest, is currently sitting at a peak position of 11 on that chart and at number seven on the Christian airplay chart.

He released the video for that song earlier this summer, dedicating it to those affected by the attack on the Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, S.C.

This fall and winter, he’ll be part of tobyMac’s This is Not a Test tour, which will stop in more than 30 cities, including Philly on Nov. 12 and Salisbury, Md., on Nov. 15.

And next Saturday, he’ll perform at Uprise 15 in Shippensburg, Pa.

For those who haven’t seen his “Through All of It” video yet, here it is.
