Adam Wakefield has released his new album, Gods & Ghosts.

Adam Wakefield, runner-up on Season 10 of The Voice, just dropped his new album.

It’s called “Gods & Ghosts” and came out Friday via Average Joes Entertainment.

There’s nothing average about the 12-song collection.

Adam’s distinct, plaintive vocals are in fine form on an album chock full of highlights.

But they sound best on songs that match those vocals, especially “Bad Whiskey and Cheap Cocaine” and “Shoot Me Where I Stand.”

“I picked 12 of my best songs, called up three of my favorite musicians, and recorded the album I have been waiting my whole life for,” Adams says in a press release announcing the ablum.

“This is the first time I’ve had complete freedom to record the songs I wanted, in whatever way I wanted. The process was scary, but so rewarding.

“There’s a long list of people that have supported this record and put their faith in me to produce something extraordinary, and I truly believe we did the songs justice. This record represents the truest version of me.”

Adam co-produced the album with Scotty Murray. Hard copies and album bundles are available through his website.

You can also check out his upcoming shows. He’s been on tour with the Mike Farris band, playing keys and opening some of those shows with his own music.

Here’s “Shoot Me Where I Stand” from “Gods & Ghosts.”
