The comment came at the end of Monday night’s episode of The Voice.

Alisan Porter and Lacy Mandigo had just torn up the stage with their performance of “California Dreamin'” — one that earned them both a spot in the show’s knockout round.

And Adam Levine called Alisan the Jordan Smith of Season 10.

“That’s amazing,” Alisan said of the comparison during a conference call with the media. “It’s a lot of pressure, I guess.

“Jordan is incredible,” she added, referring to the show’s Season 9 winner. “I don’t think anybody can really come close to him. He’s such a phenomenal singer. But I appreciate that sentiment very much and I hope I can be as consistent as he was.”

Alisan, 34, is the former child actress — think “Curly Sue” — and mother of two who auditioned for The Voice in hopes of making a career of music, which she calls her real artistic passion.

With a solid 2014 album already to her credit, she stepped on The Voice stage and turned all four coaches’ chairs with her blind audition rendition of “Blue Bayou.”

Her studio version of the song soared into the Top 30 on iTunes, the best showing for a singer from the blind audition. Her duet with Lacy was an iTunes success, too.

But after its ridiculously over-the-top pimping of Jordan in Season 9, The Voice hasn’t been nearly so heavy handed in pushing Alisan as the Season 10 front-runner.

As for her battle round strategy, Alisan said the goal is “to just try to kind of outdo yourself every single time.

“‘Blue Bayou’ is very sort of soft and gentle and I wanted to show another side so I kind of let loose a little bit more.”

Pharrell’s reaction: “You just became this thunderstorm. Over and over again. And I’m like, ‘Man, what a weather system.'”

the end of the battle, Christina declared Alisan the winner, meaning she’ll advance to the show’s knockout round, which begins next week. But so will 18-year-old Lacy, who was so impressive she was stolen by Blake Shelton and will now compete for his team.

Alisan called The Voice experience “so different from anything I have ever done. It’s a lot of work. It’s a lot of rehearsals and there’s a lot that precedes what we do on stage.

“I’m so used to being a stay at home mom and kind of doing my own thing and this is definitely not that.”
