An American Idol tradition continued Thursday night.

After a tense results show in which fans’ 10 picks for the Top 13 were revealed, and during which five singers sang for their wild card lives, Idol threw a party.

The Top 13 were honored, but won’t get to celebrate for long.

After all, there’s the first finals show of Season 13 right around the corner (Wednesday, 8 p.m.), followed by another cut the next night.
