Scotty McCreery didn’t have a single song-writing credit on his debut album. That will change with his followup to 2011’s “Clear As Day.”
We’re just an hour away from a complete Season 4 roster for The Voice. Each coach needs just one more artist for his or her team, and I’d be surprised if the show didn’t save some of its best talent for last.
The Voice has already amassed some pretty amazing talent for Season 4, and there are still 16 finalists to meet. We meet those individuals this week, as the show wraps up its blind auditions.
The way I figure it, the American Idol ladies should be enjoying a pretty stress free week. As I’ve noted repeatedly, the Idol judges still have their save tucked away as we head into Top 6 week.
Co-host Luke Bryan was named Entertainer of the Year and Miranda Lambert snagged three honors at the ACM Awards Sunday night. Bryan hosted the show with Voice judge Blake Shelton and beat out Blake, Miranda, Taylor Swift and Jason Alden for the night’s top honor, calling it “the defining moment of my life.”
Could it be? Is it possible? Is someone at American Idol watching those tumbling ratings and listening to the criticism?
Hey, American Idol fans: Don’t forget. Two of your favorites will be performing on TV Sunday night. The occasion is the 48th annual ACM Awards, which begin at 8 p.m. on CBS.
