Well, I missed the first airing of Brooke White’s new made-for-TV movie.

The good news is that this is a cable TV movie.

Which means lots of rebroadcasts.

Better yet, it’s a 4th of July movie, which means rebroadcasts right around the corner.

Specifically, “Banner 4th of July” will air at 8 p.m. Thursday on the Hallmark channel.

And if you’re busy with your own July 4 celebration and don’t catch it then, it’s also set to air at 5 p.m. Saturday.

In the movie, Brooke plays Desiree Banner, a musician who decided to split with her sibling band The Banner Project to pursue a solo career.

That caused a fallout with brother Mitchell (Christian Campbell), whom she has avoided for 10 years. But when their mother suffers a heart attack, both head home to be at her side along with a second brother, Johnny.

Ah, but there’s another problem lurking. Desiree’s mother is mayor of Pinewood Hills, and the town faces bankruptcy if it doesn’t make a bond payment by July 4.

Like I said, I haven’t seen the movie, but here’s betting a reunion of The Banner Project has something to do with the solution.

This marks the second TV movie for Brooke, who also played a singer-songwriter in 2011’s “Change of Plans,” about a husband and wife who suddenly find that they have to re-evaluate their career plans when four orphans land on their doorstep.

“Banner 4th of July” also includes new Brooke White music — a pair of songs she wrote and sings with co-star Christian Campbell.

Follow the links to hear those songs — “Sun Up, Sun Down” and “Fly, Fly Fly.” After just two listens, the former is already one of my favorite Brooke White tunes.

The songs are available from iTunes as an EP that also includes a pair of previously released Jack & White tracks.

Brooke and Jack Matranga have released three EPs since her run on Season 7 of Idol. All of those are available on iTunes as well.

Something else you might want to check out — Brooke’s blog on the experience — to find out the special challenges the cast faced and why they couldn’t wait for the word “cut” during a portion of the filming.
