Yep, Brynn Cartelli’s the youngest contestant to win The Voice.

She might also be the first to celebrate with a loud squeak.

Watch Carson Daley’s announcement of the winner, and you’ll hear it just as the camera cuts to Kelly.

But that noise didn’t come from Kelly.

“Britton (Buchanan) picked me up and squeezed me so hard that I went agh,” Brynn told ET Live. “That’s what you heard on camera.”

In the press conference that followed her victory, coach Kelly did most of talking. But Brynn has been answering lots of questions in a round of interviews since winning The Voice Tuesday night, just a month after turning 15.

Among the highlights …

* When Carson Daly made the announcement, Brynn said she didn’t realize she had won until she heard her last name because Brynn and Britton sound so similar. And she swears she never thought she’d win until her name was called.

* She said one of the highlights of her time on The Voice was performing with Julia Michaels in the finale. Julia was a co-writer on Brynn’s single, “Walk My Way,” which is still Top 15 on iTunes. “I write more stories,” Brynn said about songwriting. “She writes these awesome, catchy, everyone’s-going-to-love-it songs.”

* Speaking of which, the thrill of recording that original and tweaking it a bit to make it more personal to her erased any doubt Brynn said she might have had about putting music at the forefront of her future at age 15.

* Her vision for a debut project? Dark pop, Brynn says, “like a Sia mixed with Dua Lipa” with some Allen Stone story-telling thrown in.

Here are some of those interviews.

I agree with the piece. The best thing about The Voice is the talented new artists they introduce us to season after season. Some have already released great music. Many will do after the show. My biggest frustration with The Voice is that they do so little to promote graduates of the show and the great music they go on to create. I’d think the show would be proud. I’d think the show would feel a debt of gratitude to the singers responsible for the show’s solid ratings. I suspect this could come back to haunt The Voice. Both shows recruit talent. Am I going to try out for a show (American Idol) with Disney connections, a tour for the top finishers, a record deal for the winner that actually results in an album or for The Voice, which offers none of the above?

“idol” has done nothing to promote their finalists since season 11.

Most of the press this year on “Idol” this year has focused on the judges and their antics. Just like “The Voice.”

Which “Idol” tour, by the way? This year’s, which only features the top seven, Season 14, which only featured the top five, or season 13, which had the performers singing to prerecorded music?

I don’t know why anyone would audition for either show.

It’s the judges/coaches and the producers who control and manipulate everything.

    The contestants are merely ornamentation.

It won’t be any different for Brynn or Maddie.

It’s all about selling the judges and the networks brands.
