Season 4 of The Voice begins Monday night at 8 p.m. on NBC. Check back for live blogs during each show and for bios of the contestants who land a spot in the competition.

Meanwhile, it’s time to catch up with some familiar faces from Season 3 who have new music, including Nathalie Hernandez of Team Christina.

Nathalie Hernandez has released three songs to iTunes since appearing on The Voice. Before The Voice: Nathalie was just 15 when she auditioned for the show and 16 when it aired, making her one of the youngest contestants. Yet she had already released a five-track EP earlier in 2012 and had ironically just won a Largo (Fla.) Teen Idol competition. Nathalie started writing songs at age 11 after landing a part in a local community theater production. Told she couldn’t sing a song in the show because of copyright laws, she simply wrote her own. She plays guitar and ukelele.

On The Voice: She impressed the judges with a version of Taylor Swift’s “White Horses,” prompting three of the four to turn around. But her time on the show was relatively short-lived. She lost her battle round match to Aquile.

Since The Voice: You’ve gotta love this teen’s spirit. The first post-Voice song she posted to iTunes was “You Give Me Something,” a version of the song she lost on in the battle round. She’s released two more singles since, an original song called “Keep Smiling Child” and a cover of Haley Reinhart’s “Free.” Both were released earlier this month. Nathalie wrote the lyrics to “Keep Smiling Child,” with proceeds from the song going to the L.A. Children’s Hospital. Oh, and earlier this month she was a judge and guest performer at the 2013 Largo Teen Idol competition.

Keeping up with Nathalie: On Twitter, she is @nathalie_FLgirl. She has her own website. And here are her links for Facebook and YouTube.
