* Joe Maye from Season 10 of The Voice has released a saucy new pop single called “Killa.” And it has a spicy music video to match, featuring his co-star Sarah Boutros. Joe was Top 20 on The Voice and released a great single called “Stick Up Love” back in 2016, but has been quiet recently in terms of original music. The new single is his first release since 2017.

* Caroline Sky from Season 12 delivers an enchanting vocal on “Leave My Love,” a single she delivered Friday in “the most stripped-down way I could think of — one take, played and sung live in studio, no edits, no autotune, no bullshit.” Caroline, 16 when she appeared on the show in 2017, adds that “I wrote this song about a New York City heartbreak before i even experienced one myself.” It follows “Paint Me Red” as her second single of 2020.

* Nathalie Hernandez from Season 4 dropped a song called “Same For You” on Friday. Just 15 when she appeared on The Voice, Nathalie has since attended Berklee and said she started writing the song on a long commute home from a job in Boston. “I also had just moved in with my boyfriend AKA best friend,” she told Section 36. “It still is my favorite part of the day coming home to someone who will dance salsa with me in the kitchen while cooking dinner. So this song is saying I will give as much comfort and relief from every day worries to my person as they do to me.”
