Riley Biederer from Season 9 released “Love Sucks” on Friday. Entering 2020, it had been four years since Riley released music of her own. “Love Sucks” marks her fourth single of 2020. “Wrote this in quarantine with two of my best friends while going through a breakup. (fun!),” she writes on Instagram. “Love f—ing sucks (sometimes), and I can’t wait for u to be bitter with me.”

* Grant Ganzer from Season 7 released “Summer16” on Friday. It’s a song about looking back to one’s high school days. “I wrote this song on a night when I was really missing home and all my people there,” writes Grant, who is from Johnston, Iowa. “Send it to someone who’s been on your heart lately and tell them you miss them for me.”

* Citizen Queen, an all-female quintet including Hannah Mrozak from Season 13, released a cover of Kehlani’s “Everybody Business” on Friday. “Feeling extra sensi putting this one out for y’all,” the group’s Instagram account reads. “We can’t quiteeeee say why YET, but we’ve got some big news coming sooner than you think.”
