Chris Kroeze, the Season 15 runner-up on The Voice, is preparing to release new music.

Pre-orders are underway on his website for an album with an anticipated release date of “on or about Feb. 22,” which would be this Friday.

On Facebook, Chris says the album will include eight songs, including a mix of originals and a couple of long-requested covers.

He’s already posted 30-second snippets of four tracks on social media. They include a rousing version of Led Zeppelin’s classic hit, “Whole Lotta Love.”

All pre-orders of the CD from the website will be signed by Chris. And they’ll come with a digital download code.

Chris has also been busy touring since The Voice and has four shows scheduled for this weekend in his hometown of Barron, Wisc.

Suffice to say it looks like he’ll be a busy man for the rest of 2019.

He also has a couple of new honors to celebrate. On Sunday, he was named Entertainer of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year by the Midwest CMA (Country Music Association).

Chris was 27 when he auditioned for The Voice. He hit the iTunes Top 10 with “Human,” the single he recorded for the finale, and was the show’s most streamed artist the two weeks before that.
