Cody Belew needs fans’ help big time over the next two weeks.

One of the most entertaining male performers to grace The Voice stage, Cody is in the middle of an indiegogo campaign to fund three music videos.

His goal is $35,000. He’s raised about $3,000 of that so far and has 12 days to go.

Cody auditioned for Season 3 of The Voice and his reaction to Cee Lo Green’s last-second chair turn is one of the most memorable we’ve seen in the show’s six seasons.

He went on to crack the Top 8 on The Voice, then released a 14-track album called “What You’re Looking For” last August.

So why does he need indiegogo?

Because he’s hoping to shoot professional videos for three songs on the album — “Just Come On In,” “We Are Ready” and “Down and Dirty.”

“I strongly feel that, with these videos, we will be able to take ‘What You’re Looking For’ to the next level,” Cody writes in his indiegogo pitch. “Sort of how Macklemore used the video for “Thrift Shop” to launch his record to remarkable success. This is the one case where “viral” is a good thing.”

Rewards, of course, are offered to those who help out, including a download of an acoustic cover of “Jolene,” one of the songs Cody covered on The Voice. Heck, he’s even offering a chance to appear in one of those videos.

Oh, and Cody’s been asked to perform two dates as part of The Voice summer tour — tonight in Charlotte, N.C., and Sunday, July 20, in St. Louis.

Meanwhile, in case you haven’t heard it, here’s “We Are Ready,” performed live.
