New post-Voice music out this week includes EPs from Jessica Childress, Jaclyn Lovey and Cody Belew.

Here’s a bit about each of those releases. The links take you to the EPs on Apple Music.

Jessica Childress from The voice Season 4

* Jessica Childress from Season 4 released a four-track EP called “Questions” on Friday. She says it’s a project born from the COVID lockdown and her experiences during that time. Says Jessica: “Questions is the product of a lot of time, a breakup and the subsequent therapy and healing (an absolute necessity all the time – but especially during the lockdown). It’s for anyone in the middle of the chaos, questioning their worth, fearing change. Trust me when I say: it is worth it. Whatever ‘it’ is. YOU — your time, your days, your joy, your peace — are valuable. The fear you feel is based on what has happened not what CAN or WILL happen.” She calls the title track (check it out below), the most introspective song on the EP and perhaps in her entire catalog of original music.

Jaclyn Lovey from The Voice Season 14

* Jaclyn Lovey from Season 14 dropped a four-song EP called “Little Valley Girl” on Friday. The title track and the EP opening “Bike” are must-hear tracks. It marks at least the fourth EP for Jaclyn since The Voice. Oh, and she’s also released an album during that time.

Cody Belew from The Voice Season 3

Cody Belew from The Voice Season 3

* Cody Belew from Season 3 released a five-song EP called “Rodeo” on Friday. The title track and “This is the End” are the new songs in the collection. Writes Cody on Instagram: “Seems like anything worth having in my life was hard to get. But this EP came as an unexpected gift at a time when I saw my window closing. If this music finds you, I hope it leaves you inspired to love a little deeper and to live a little kinder.”
