But fan support is swelling for the remaining artists, especially for three male singers — Chris Jamison, Matt McAndrew and Ryan Sill.
Chris had gained more than 29,000 Twitter followers in two weeks and is now the fourth most popular Season 7 singer on Facebook.
Ryan Sill gained nearly 15,000 followers on Twitter in the past week, to move from fifth to third in that category. That could come in handy if he finds himself in need of another instant save.
And Matt McAndrew is showing big gains on social media as well, gaining nearly 12,000 Twitter followers in the past week and leap-frogging Anita Antoinette to become the show’s second most popular member of the Top 10 on Facebook.
The list below shows where everyone stood as of 10 p.m. Sunday night. The number in the first set of parenthesis is the number of Twitter followers and Facebook fans from Saturday, June 15, followed by the number of followers and fans when the live playoffs began.
