Emily Ann Roberts, runner-up on Season 9 of The Voice, has released a fun new song called “Chickens,” which you can check out below. The bigger news is that Emily Ann will be releasing her first full-length album, “Can’t Hide Country” on Sept. 22 and you can pre-order it now on Apple Music. The 13-song album will feature Emily Ann favorites like “Whole Lotta Little” and “He Set Her Off” — both have more than 2 million streams on Spotify — as well as a batch of new songs.
Zach Seabaugh, another Season 9 standout, has released a heartfelt ballad called “Maybe We Do.” It’s one he wrote with Melissa Fuller and Brett Truitt. And it follows “Co-Pilot” and “Not How I Want To” as the third single of 2023 from Zach, who says he also has another in the works. Zach recently celebrated 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Zach will be touring again in the fall with the National Parks Band with stops planning in D.C., Richmond and Pittsburgh.
Jordyn Simone, who competed on Season 14 of The Voice in the spring of 2018 at age 17, has a new song out called “Hate to Love.” Says Jordyn: “When you thinking about texting them, listen to this instead ❤️🩹 My heart is full.” Jordyn wrote the song with Marty Grimes and Moxie Knox. “Hate to Love” is Jordyn’s first single of 2023, but her sixth since the show.
