Get ready to see some familiar faces over the next couple of weeks as American Idol airs the audition episodes for its final season.

Spoiler reports indicate at least four former contestants from The Voice will be on Idol Season 15 in addition to a couple of Idol Season 14 standout who fell short of the finals a year ago.

Two of those former Voice contestants — MacKenzie Bourg and Shelbie Z. — are actively promoting the show on Twitter.

MacKenzie, who made it to the Top 20 on Season 3 when he was still a teen, tweeted a photo of himself from the Idol auditions over the weekend with this message: “I’ll be number 39956 on ur tv’s wednesday night but hopefully i’ll be #1 in ur heart.”

Which is sorta coincidental, because MacKenzie has released a pair of singles since appearing on The Voice and “Heartbeat” was one of my favorite songs of 2014 from a former Voice contestant.

Emily Brooke was just 15 when she auditioned for American Idol Season 14.

Shelbie Z. — short for Zora — has the Idol farewell season banner emblazoned across the top of her Twitter account and is planning a viewing party for Wednesday night in Jasper, Ala.

A country singer, she made the Top 20 on Season 5 of The Voice and has also released a pair of singles since, “Walker County Way” in 2013 and “That’s How Mamma Raised Me” in 2014.

The other Voice contestants mentioned by spoiler sites are Madilyn Paige (Top 20, Season 6) and Ashley DuBose (Season 5).

As for the returning contestants you might remember from Season 14:

* Emily Brooke was just 15 when she wowed the judges with an audition performance of Carrie Underwood’s “Blown Away.” It was one of the highlights of the Season 14 premiere.

* Adam Lasher won praise from the judges when he sang an original, “These Shoes,” during last year’s New Orleans auditions. You might remember him as the nephew of Carlos Santana.

* Kory Wheeler is the guy who worked in a coffee shop across from the Season 14 audition site in Nashville and dashed across the street during a break to give Jennifer Lopez the “goosies” with his version of “I Can’t Make You Love Me.” Kory released a debut EP in August called “All Good Things.”
