Not all of the most interesting stuff happened on the stage at the CMT Music Awards Wednesday night.

Former American Idol beauty Brittany Kerr was back in the spotlight, showing up on the arm of Jason Aldean.

Yep, the same country star she was caught getting cozy with in an L.A. bar back in September 2012 when Aldean was still supposedly happily married.

She apologized; he insisted his marriage was fine.

Then he filed for divorce the following April.

A former cheerleader for the Charlotte Bobcats, Brittany grabbed the public’s attention as an aspiring country singer on Season 11 of American Idol.

The night her audition aired, websites crashed so many people went searching for photos of the new Idol beauty.

She made it to Hollywood that season before being eliminated.

No word on how her singing career is going.
