Girl Named Tom strikes again on Apple Music for The Voice

0

For the second straight week, Girl Named Tom has scored the most popular song from The Voice on Apple Music.

And, once again, it isn’t even close.

As of midnight, Bekah, Caleb and Joshua Liechty were sitting at number 18 on the Apple Music Top 200 with their cover of “More Hearts Than Mine.” The song had also cracked the Top 5 on the site’s country singles chart.

Three other Voice contestants — Hailey Mia, Jershika Maple and Paris Winningham — had made the Top 200 as of midnight.

But the highest charter of the three, Hailey Mia with “Elastic Heart,” was sitting at number 162.

Last week, the Girl Named Tom sibling trio were the only Voice contestants in the Top 200 three hours after the show.

They did that with a cover of “Dust in the Wind” that was back at number 14 on the Top 200 at midnight, a higher ranking than any song from Monday’s show.

(Editor’s Note: The numbers in parenthesis are where the songs stood at noon Tuesday, after voting had ended. As always, keep genre to genre comparisons in perspective. The Christian, rock and R&B charts are much, much easier to climb than the country and pop charts)
