New post-Voice music out includes singles from Jackie Foster, James Violet and Karla Davis.

Here’s a bit about each of those releases.

The links take you to the songs on Apple Music. Or you can check out the Spotify snippets below.

* Jackie Foster from Season 14 released “All That” last week, calling it her “’70s baby.” She co-wrote the song with Adam Loeffler and Shelby Adams. “One evening I was just feeling sassy and started humming this idea into my phone,” Jackie says of “All That.” “It turned into a song that expresses my frustration, but also my slight jealousy around ‘Instagram image culture.’ I’m over being around people who hype themselves up and think they are all that. I chuckle every time I listen to this song because we all know someone who is that guy.”

* James Violet from Season 17 has released a breezy new single called “Crush,” his first release in about a year and a half and also his first since appearing on the show. Fear not, fans, more music is coming. He’ll be releasing a five-song EP called “Don’t Send Me Flowers” on Aug. 14 and it’s available for pre-order on Apple Music. James debut EP, “404 Not Found,” was released in 2019.

* Karla Davis from Season 2 has released her first single in quite a while. It’s a lovely tune called “Safer” and dropped a couple of weeks ago. “I wrote Safer with the incredible Lena Stone and just completely fell in love with it,” Karla writes on social media. She adds that she played the song for the first time at the Bluebird Cafe, now shuttered because of the pandemic. “Can’t wait to be back,” she adds.
