New post-Voice music out this week include an EP from Jacquie and singles from Delaney and Zan Fiskum.

Here’s a bit about each of those releases.

The links below take you to the songs on Apple Music. Or you can check out the Spotify snippets below.

* Jacquie, runner-up on The Voice Season 5 as Jacquie Lee, released a five-track EP called “Rinascita” earlier this week. “This marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another,: writes Jacquie on Instagram. Be sure to check out the delightfully different “Red” (as in “You make me see red). The EP also features Jacquie’s most recent single “PSSY PWR,” a song she says is designed to “empower women and unite women” in a culture that typically “pits us against one another.” The accompanying music video, Jacquie says, “highlights the complexities of an abusive relationship.”

* Zan Fiskum from Season 18 opened 2021 by dropping “You Are the Light.” A live performance of the song was also featured during a Seattle TV’s station’s virtual New Year’s Eve celebration from the Space Needle. “You Are the Light” follows “Still Thinkin’ About You” as the second song Zan has released from her upcoming album, “Sleeping Problems.”

* Delaney (Silvernell) from The Voice Season 15 teamed up with Zho Davis to release “Silver Lingings” on New Year’s Eve. They also wrote the song. Writes Delaney on Instagram: “2020 was a continuous loop of just making it from point A to point B. A lot of times, I couldn’t even see what point B looked like. But I held on to the simple things: the love of family, the support of friends, my music, and the faith that the future has beauty in store.”
