Jeffery Austin has released his debut EP.

Former The Voice finalist Jeffery Austin has released his first major project since the show.

His five-track EP “Misguided” landed last week; the title track and a song called “Answer” had already been released.

“Who’s ready to dance to my bad life choices?” Jeffery joked on Facebook.

Jeffery wrote the songs on “Misguided” with former Voice roommate Tim Atlas, a singer-songwriter and producer who has worked with several other contestants from the show.

Prior to the music on “Misguided,” Jeffery had released a trio of singles since finishing fourth on The Voice Season 9 back in 2015.

Remarkably, prior to his audition for the show at age 24, Jeffery said he hadn’t been on a major stage for six years — since his days performing in high school.

Jeffery calls “Misguided” the favorite song he’s written. And he told The Huffington Post that the new EP marks first project where he feels like “a fully realized artist.

“Coming off ‘The Voice,’ I felt a lot of pressure to do many different things,” he told the site. “But with this music, I feel like I’m finally getting to say what I want to say.

“I hope my fans see my investment in developing myself as an artist and a songwriter outside of what they saw on the show. I hope they see that journey needed to happen.”

You can follow Jeffery on Facebook and Instagram. On Twitter, he’s simply @jefferyaustin.
