Joe Maye, a Top 20 finisher on Season 10 of The Voice, released his third EP last week.

Among fans of The Voice, Joe Maye is probably best remembered for his impromptu blind audition duet of “I Put a Spell on You” with Christina Aguilera.

After all, one version of that blind audition has more than 9 million views on YouTube. A shorter version featuring just the duet has more than 4 million.

But now the Baltimore area native is back with his first major post-show release, a deliciously diverse seven-track EP called “Sol.”

It opens with a decadent rocker called “Stick Up Love,” released as a single in 2016, and also includes an addictive pop tune called “Satellite.”

In between, Joe serves up an impassioned vocal on the ballad, “Riptide,” which also just go the music video treatment. You can check that out below.

Joe, 24 when he auditioned for Season 10 of The Voice, made it all the way to the Top 24 before being eliminated.

He got his start singing covers on the Spirit Cruises in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor and also released two pre-show EPs, “Her Song” in 2014 and “Set Free” in 2012 (the latter is available on Bandcamp).

You can keep up with Joe through his Facebook page and website. On Twitter, he’s @joemaye_.
