Koryn Hawthorne saved for a third time on The Voice

India Carney was forced to fight for a third straight instant save on The Voice Tuesday night.

But it turned out to be 17-year-old Koryn Hawthorne who was saved for the third time.

Koryn squeaked into next Monday’s four-singer finale after performing “If I Were a Boy” during her save performance. India had performed Kelly Clarkson’s “Dark Side.”

You’ll recall that India and Koryn started Season 8 of The Voice as teammates on Team Christina.

But Koryn lost a knockout round match to Kimberly Nichole, who wound up finishing sixth, and would have been eliminated from the show if she hadn’t been stolen by Pharrell Williams.

A week later, Koryn needed the coach’s save to advance from the live playoffs; at the time, Voice voters preferred Sawyer Fredericks and Mia Z.

Koryn now advances to the finals along with Sawyer, Team Blake’s Meghan Linsey and Team Adam’s Joshua Davis.

Here’s a photo gallery from Tuesday’s show.
