Cedrice from Season 18 of The Voice has released her first single since. “Room To Grow” landed Friday and features an assist from Mark Pelli. Cedrice said she originally wrote the song as a conversation between God and man. But, she notes, it can apply to any situation where one person is ready to offer up unconditional love and the other person isn’t ready to receive it or make the same commitment. Head here for the music video. Cedrice finished Top 17 on the show.

* Laura Vivas from Season 3 has released her debut single, the catchy and sassy “Afraid of Your Love” eight years after her stint on the show. There’s a music video too. Writes Laura on social media: “This song was a part of my healing process from my broken heart. It’s how I channeled all my anger, unsaid words, sadness and vindication. Thank you for sharing in my musical testimony.”

* Royce Lovett from Season 17 has a fun new single out called “Freestyle Tape.” This time, he gets an assist from Anonymous XI, Pharocious & B. Somethin. Writes Royce: “I think freestyle rapping is possibly the cornerstone of #Hiphop. Representing clarity of mind, speed of thought and confidence.” There’s also a music video for the song.
