Season 13 contestants from The Voice are certainly wasting no time getting new music into the hands of fans.

The latest is Maharasyi, who delivered a post-show debut single on Tuesday called “Nostalgia.”

It’s a sultry and sexy number she wrote, more R&B than pop, which is precisely the post-Voice musical direction she told Voice Views she intended to take.

You might remember Maharasyi as the young woman who spent most of her childhood in Indonesia and decided to follow in the footsteps of her aunt Emilia Contessa, a pop star there.

She even recorded for an Indonesian label before returning to the U.S.

On The Voice, she turned two chairs with her blind audition cover of “Tell Me Something Good,” landed a spot on Team Jennifer Hudson, but was eliminated in the battle round after being paired with eventual Top 8 finisher Davon Fleming.

In addition to the new song, Maharasyi released an accompanying music video produced by Tudor Williams and featuring Kevin “Konkrete” Davis as her dance partner.

You might remember him from Season 14 of So You Think You Can Dance.

Here’s the music video.
