Her audition: Brianna Cameron, 13, Union, N.J., “River Deep, Mountain High” by Ike & Tina Turner: Brianna begins with her back to the mic, an indication that she’s an experienced performer in spite of her youth. That youthful energy prompted an early chair turn from Kelly Clarkson. Riley Green followed. Adam Levine praises that performance at age 13. Kelly said she thought Brianna was “grown” the performance was so powerful. Riley said she has the biggest voice he’s heard on the show and brought out his dog Carl to help Brianna make her decision. Brianna clearly enjoyed meeting Carl. But she still picked Team Kelly. (Watch her audition below)

* She’s a 13-year-old singer, songwriter and actress from New Jersey who has already put together an impressive list of accomplishments. Despite the fact that she just started eighth grade.

* In 2022, at age 9, she won first place and a $5,000 prize by winning the “Child Star of Tomorrow” competition at the Apollo Theater. She sang Whitney Houston’s “Greatest Love of All.”

* That led to an appearance on the Jennifer Hudson show where she performed the song again, credited her talent to her mother and showed off her vibrant personality. Check out her interview with Jennifer here.

* By 2024, Brianna was touring with the Broadway show “Tina — The Tina Turner Musical,” playing the role of Tina as a young girl.

* She says one of the biggest lessons she learned from the experience and from Tina’s story is “to just be yourself. When you’re being yourself, for me personally, things go better.”

* In an interview with Tulsa Kids, Brianna says she comes from a musical family and started performing when she was just 3 or 4 years old.

* “Listening to music made me happy and I said, ‘Okay, if I listen to music, then I’m going to make music to make other people happy.”

* And upon the passing of Dolly Parton, Brianna posted a cover of herself singing “Put a Little Love in Your Heart,” writing “This was one of the first songs that I sang as a young artist, and it has such a beautiful meaning. rest in peace to Dolly Parton. you will be forever remembered.”
