Cal Cook from The Voice Season 30
The Voice returns to NBC on Monday, Sept. 21 with the coaching quartet of Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, Queen Latifah and Riley Green.
Here’s more about Cal:
* He’s from Utah and describes himself as a pop / alternative and R&B artist. And he already has music out.
* Much of that was released with a band called CalJo in the 2023-24 time frame, though you’ll find it under Cal Cook on streaming sites.
* He dropped six-song EP in 2025 called “Cerebral.” The lead track is called “Running.” Cal says he wrote the song about his tendency to want to run away from his problems.
* He released his most recent single, “Switch,” early this month. “I wrote this song about changing parts of myself to try and please other people. Been waiting a long time for y’all to hear this one,” he writes on social media.
* Judging from Cal’s social media, a music video is coming for “Switch.” Check out a snippet of the sog below.
