Several singers got more airtime than Hannah Mrozak during the American Idol auditions in Minneapolis.

But she certainly got as good of feedback as any of the contestants on that episode.

Hannah auditioned with Etta James’ “Something’s Got a Hold On Me” and wowed the judges from the opening note.

And not only did she deliver a powerful vocal, but the 16-year-old student from Richfield, Wisc., showed remarkable confidence considering her age.

The judges had barely heard 40 seconds of Hannah singing before they stopped her.

Keith Urban called her audition “fantastic.” Jennifer Lopez called it “amazing.” And Harry Connick Jr. called it “crazy” that she’s so good at such a young age.

Needless to say, Hannah is Hollywood bound.

What the show didn’t show: On Facebook, Hannah says she’s been singing since age 6 and describes her “style as a soulful, pop/rock blend.” She lists Christina Aguilera, Eva Cassidy and Joss Stone as major influences and says she performs both solo and with her band.

She won Milwaukee’s Got Talent in 2011 and recorded her first CD — including covers of artists like Etta James, Adele and the Beatles — the same year.

She’s also recorded and made a video for an original song called “It’s In Me.” According to her website, the song was written from personal experience with bullying and “she felt she needed to reach out to other teens that have been victims of bullying.”

In a meet Hannah video on Idol’s website, Hannah says: “I’ve been through some rough experiences in my life, and so many tough times, but singing always made it better. I think each experience was building me up, one by one, making me a stronger person.”

Here are some Hannah links, followed by a couple samples of her music.
