His audition: Jon Mullins, 32, of Nashville, Tenn., performed “Don’t Give Up on Me” by Andy Grammer. Jon launched into an emotional performance that prompted an early chair turn from Blake Shelton. Though she didn’t turn, Kelly Clarkson called him “super gifted.” Blake said he has a huge voice.

Here’s more about Jon.

* Jon describes himself as a pop/soul artist from Lynchburg, Va..

* Hen was inspired to start singing in high school. He auditioned for an a cappella group and quickly became one of the leads.

* In his website bio, he says he learned guitar at age 14 and wrote his first song three months later.

* He says his sound is often compared to Adele, John Mayer and Sean Smith.

* His only released music so far is a 2016 EP called “20 Something.” It was released in early 2016.

* In an interview you can check out here, Jon talks about two of the songs he wrote for that EP with Jennifer Dixon. Those songs are “Secrets” and “Gasoline.”

* He met his wife Whitney in college and they later moved to Nashville so Jon could pursue music.

* Whitney, however, fell at work and hit her head on a concrete floor, causing her to lose her speech and motor skills. She’s fine now, but the incident caused Jon to put everything on hold for a while, according to his Voice bio.

* Below, you can check out the most recent song Jon has posted to his YouTube channel — “Wilderness.”
