Her audition: Myracle Holloway, 44, of Los Angeles, Calif., performed “When I Was Your Man” by Bruno Mars. Myracle opened strong and displayed a nice little quiver in her voice. But she was well into the song before Blake Shelton turned around. Gwen Stefani followed. Blake said he was completely wrapped up in the performance and liked the way she seemed on the verge of “losing it” emotionally. Gwen said she could hear the pain in Myracle’s voice. Myracle decided to join Team Gwen.

Here’s more about Myracle.

* She’s an R&B/pop artist based in Los Angeles, who began singing in church choir at age 7 and won her first talent show at age 15.

* That led to a scholarship to the Music Institute and eventually to a role as a touring background singer with Earth Wind and Fire.

* According to a 2016 press release, she took a break from music to deal with depression, substance abuse and other personal issues stemming from her childhood.

* A turning point came in 2010, when she took a job at Job Corps, where she was able to help young women with similar problems.

* Around 2014, she joined the former girl group Jade, best known for their 1992 hit “Don’t Walk Away.” The trio released a comeback single called “Baby Luv.”

* In December 2015, Myracle posted a video of a song called “Hello (God It’s Me)” with inspirational lyrics she wrote to Adele’s “Hello.”

* The video became a viral sensation and the song was released as Myracle’s debut single in April 2016. It’s also became the lead single for an eight-song album called “Underneath the Makeup” that’s available from her website.

* In December, Myracle followed up with a holiday album called “Myracle on Christmas,” featuring covers of “Silent Night,” “The First Noel” and other holiday favorites.

* In her Facebook bio, Myracle says her goal is to use her music “as a platform to inspire others and let them know they can overcome any adversity, there is a God who loves them no matter what and most importantly it’s not too late to live life on purpose!”
