Melanie Martinez is working on a dual album and film called K-12.

Circle the date Sept. 6.

That will apparently be the release date for the new album and self-directed movie from Melanie Martinez.

Melanie posted a simple message on Twitter today: K-12 💗 SEPT 6.

“K-12” is the name of the long-awaited sophomore album from Melanie, the most successful alumni ever to hail from The Voice.

The tweet was accompanied by a 30-second teaser for the film.

And while Melanie has warned that there will be no early singles released from the concept album, that marks the third teaser from the film.

Think Melanie fans aren’t eager for new material?

Those three teasers have a combined total of nearly 7 million views.

Melanie’s first post-Voice album, 2015’s “Cry Baby,” went platinum and spent two full years on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart.
