New post-Voice music out includes country singles from EllieMae and Jared Blake and country covers from JessLee and Madeline Consoer.

Below is a bit about each of those releases.

The links take you to the songs on Apple Music. Or you can check out the Spotify snippets below.

* EllieMae from The Voice Season 17 is back with her second country single since, the impressive “Hope You’re Doing Well.” The song dropped Friday. Write EllieMae on social media; “I remember writing this song awhile back about multiple people in my life I lost touch with after going to college and moving away. I would often find myself texting these people, ‘Hey, haven’t heard from you in awhile, I hope you’re doing well.’ I hope you can relate to this song as much as I do, especially during this crazy time we are living in.”

* Jared Blake from Season 1 has released several fine singles over the past couple of years and starts 2021 with “Slow as Smoke.” Jared celebrated with his first show of 2021, performing with Will Dakota and Adam Warner at Commodore Grill in Nashville on Friday. And if you’ve missed any of his recent releases, you can catch up with an album, “Jared Blake, Vol. 1,” set for release next Friday via Nashville Cartel.

* JessLee from Season 14 released her cover of Miley Cyrus’s “The Climb” on Friday. She says she was inspired to do so by the difficulties of 2020, a year that forced artists to “push, scratch and claw our way to our dreams.” She says she wants the cover “to be a reminder that no matter what happens this new year, it’s not about the destination… it’s about the journey! Relish in the good moments and that climb to our ultimate goals in life.”

* Madeline Consoer from Season 19 is already back with her first post-Voice release, a full-length cover of “Die from a Broken Heart.” You’ll recall she performed an abbreviated version of the Maddie and Tae song during the show’s knockout round. “I know Morgan Wallen is releasing his double album tonight … so basically he is stealing my spotlight,” she jokingly writes about a fellow former Voice contestants who’s gained fame in country music. “But really, it’s fine.”
