Nicolle Galyon from The Voice Season 2

Nicolle Galyon from The Voice Season 2

* Nicolle Galyon from Season 2 is one of the most successful Voice alumni, enjoying that success as a writer of hit country songs. Now she’s released “winner.” It’s one of the best country songs I’ve heard this year and the lead single for her upcoming album, “firstborn.” She co-wrote “winner.” with Shane McNally and Josh Osborne. And she describes it this way: “While working through my chronic need to achieve in therapy — it struck me as ironic -— that I was quite literally born in a town called Winner (South Dakota). it made sense to start the record where I started. Three minutes inspired by a place I only lived for my first three days. but in some ways took decades to leave.” Check out the visual for the song below. As for “firstborn,” it’s due out July 22 and is available for pre-order now.

Rachel Messer from The Voice Season 15

Those recordings were made at the the Foxfire Festival in Boyd County, Kentucky. Just as she did on The Voice, Rachel shows off her yodeling skills on a cover of “Cowboy Sweetheart.” The EP also includes “Rodeo Clown,” written by her husband Connor Dale and two other originals. Rachel’s debut EP, “California Sunrise,” came out in 2019.

* Taryn Papa from The Voice Season 19 released the country single “Can’t Catch My Heart” on Friday. She describes the song as “the next chapter of my love story that I wrote after realizing how hard I was falling for my fiancé. Even if I wanted to stop myself, I simply couldn’t. I hope everyone who listens can relate to having love in their life as strong as this!” It follows “Changed” and “Awake” as Taryn’s third single of 2022.
