* Valerie Ponzio from Season 12 released her new single “Just a Bordertown” on Friday and had the accompanying video featured on a billboard on Times Square. From El Paso, Valerie wrote the song with Andrew Peebles and David Borys. Says Valerie: “If people give you a hard time about where you’re from but, no matter what, you’re proud of your hometown, this song is for you!”

Gracee Shriver from Season 17 has released “Alone Some,” a song she warns has a different vibe and sound that most of her country releases. “It’s a song about heartache … the kind of heartache where it hurts so bad, you don’t think you’ll gt over it. But there’s also the season where it starts to fade, as it always does … and you realize you’re better off than in the beginning.”

Jared Blake from The Voice Season 1

* Jared Blake from Season 1 has released “Love Me.” One of the first country artists we ever met on The Voice, Jared has vowed to dust off old, unreleased material that he wrote in his early 20s and release one of those songs each month. “As a songwriter, you write hundreds of songs that no one will ever hear. Especially when you’re young and living fast,” explains Jared, 43. “I decide that it was unacceptable, as most of the time, those songs are our favorites songs. Those songs were meant to be heard.” Jared has also just released the music video for “Orange Keychain.” It’s a song he didn’t write, but released as a single earlier this year.
